Specializing in hitting, catching, and all aspects of basic defensive instruction such as throwing and fielding fundamentals, John has over 12 years of experience working in Player Development and Scouting in Major League Baseball. John currently serves as a Professional Scout with the Boston Red Sox, evaluating both Major and Minor League Players for the perennial playoff team. During his 11 years with the Texas Rangers and as the Director of Minor League Operations, John helped produce over 65 Major League players and the organization received numerous accolades, including twice being hailed as “Organization of the Year” and a recent “Best Farm System” award.
